5Rhythms is a self-realisation practice based on physical movement, developed by Gabrielle Roth in the 1970s. The 5Rhythms are flowing, staccato, chaos, lyrical and stillness.  Each rhythm corresponds to a stage of the natural human creative cycle, and the type of energy we embody during that stage. As a non-performance and non-choreographed form of movement, 5Rhythms sessions provide high levels of permission to be as we are, free to participate in our own way, take what we need from it, and have fun.

Catherine Llewellyn is a humanistic facilitator and Reiki Master with an MSc in Humanistic Consultancy & Facilitation, has been running groups for over 30 years. Having danced all her life Catherine began her work with 5Rhythms in the late 90s and trained as a teacher with Gabrielle Roth in the noughties. Her primary interest is in helping people to flourish, and helping the helpers to claim the nourishment they need for this precious work.
